If you are in need of food in Williamstown: WMHS has curbside food pickup M-F 11-1pm. A Bagged lunch and a bagged breakfast are offered daily to youth 18 years and under. You do not need to get out of your car, just pull up to the school and someone will assist you. If you have questions or issues with transportation, please do not hesitate to contact Michele Blanchard by text, phone or email: 522-7094,

The Williamstown Food Shelf is offering weekly bagged food for youth 18 and under if transportation is an issue and you can’t get to WMHS: contact Donna 477-3264 or email her for more information.

Not youth but still need food? The Williamstown Food Shelf will continue to be open on Saturdays, but in order to protect everyone from COVID-19 we have changed how food is distributed. We are no longer allowing people to come in and “shop” for their needs. Upon arrival, you will be asked to fill out an order form then wait in your car. We will pack a bag for you and bring it to the car. To streamline the process we are asking people to call in their order ahead of time. Please call Donna at 477-3264 or Jennifer at 249-4014. If you submit your order by Thursday evening, we’ll have it ready to pick up on Saturday, food shelf hours are 9 am to 1 pm.

Green Mountain Power Update: Safety for customers and our employees is our focus! We recognize that some may experience financial difficulty as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, whether they or a family member fall ill, are required to quarantine, or because their income is otherwise affected. We hope to alleviate our affected customers’ concerns about their electricity service during this time, so GMP is temporarily suspending collections-related activities, including service disconnections through the end of April. These policies are effective immediately. We will evaluate their continued need at the end of April. Please note that regular billing will continue for all customers. We have a page dedicated to the latest info on the pandemic and what it means for customers here: Green Mountain Power.
